Delta Blues Health & Rehabilitation in Memphis, Tennessee is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to care for residents in a compassionate, resident-centered skilled nursing and long-term care setting. Full-time shifts are available across multiple times, with a focus on safe medication administration, patient education, and collaborative care planning.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards and orders
• Plan nursing interventions based on individual needs and monitor implementation
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions and adjust as needed
• Conduct family and resident education
• Administer medications and treatments timely
• Transcribe physician orders and document progress notes consistently
• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family
• Coordinate resident’s rehabilitation program with therapists
• Ensure CNA documentation and assignments are completed on time
• Perform other nursing duties as required under state nurse practice act
