Job summary

Maplewood Health Care Center in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking a dedicated RN to join our care team in a full-time role. You will manage nursing care for residents, supervise aides, monitor conditions, notify physicians of changes, and coordinate with families and the interdisciplinary team.

• Current unrestricted RN license for Tennessee.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Ability to supervise nurse aides and coordinate with care team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing care for all residents and delegate shift tasks to nurses.
• Supervise nurse aides as they complete their assignments.
• Observe residents’ conditions, oversee, and respond as necessary.
• Inform physicians of any changes in resident conditions.
• Communicate with patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary team about care plan changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
