Delta Blue Health and Rehabilitation in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time shifts (7A-3P, 3P-11P). The role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $28 to $43.50 with daily pay access and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, same day pay and instant wage access.

The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand/bend/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per standards of practice, physician orders and center policies.
• Plan nursing interventions for each resident and monitor implementation.
• Evaluate care interventions and adjust as needed.
• Educate residents and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Transcribe orders and document progress accurately.
• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor and family.
• Document skin changes and follow skin management protocols.
• Order and report diagnostic tests as needed.
• Coordinate rehabilitation program with therapists.
• Ensure CNA documentation and assignments are completed daily.
• Perform other nursing duties as required by state Nurse Practice Act.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines

• Plan nursing interventions for each resident based on individual needs and monitor the implementation

• Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions, identify problems and trends and develop alternative interventions.

• Conduct family and resident education

• Administer medications and treatments timely and according to center policy

• Transcribe physician’s orders and chart progress notes in an informative, factual manner that reflects the care administered as well as the resident’s response

• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family

• Accurately identify skin changes and follow skin management protocols

• Order and report diagnostic tests timely

• Follow Pharmacy policy and procedures for ordering and delivering medications.

• Coordinate resident’s rehabilitation program with therapists to ensure rehabilitation needs are met

• Monitors that CNA documentation is completed daily

• Ensures CNA assignments are completed on time

• Perform additional nursing care responsibilities as required and based on State Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements:

• Active state RN license

• CPR/BLS Certification

• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred
