Job summary

Pillar of Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a capable RN/LPN supervisor to care for residents and mentor CNAs on the shift. You will assess needs, develop care plans, and ensure quality care using nursing processes, with emphasis on accurate communication to physicians and families.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license valid for Iowa.
• CPR certification required.
• Demonstrates leadership and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the care and well-being of the residents in your charge and direct train, and mentor the CNAs on your team.
• Assess residents’ needs and assist in developing and following individual care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and other direct care as prescribed and indicated.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Push/pull 30 pounds of force to move medication carts and transport residents in wheelchairs.
