Heritage Specialty Care is hiring an RN in Cedar Rapids, IA. Join a 171-bed long-term care community and provide direct nursing care on the night shift (6PM-6AM). Competitive wages with shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

You’ll collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and providers to ensure resident safety, administer medications, document care, and support daily clinical operations. CPR certified, Iowa RN license, and knowledge of LTC regulations are required.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license and CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of federal/state long-term care regulations.
• Ability to provide compassionate, respectful care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
