Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration within a care team.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains a culture of safety and adheres to standards of care.
• Evaluates outcomes and takes action to improve patient and unit performance.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Communicates effectively and supports teamwork and appropriate delegation.
• Pursues ongoing education and maintains required certifications.
