Job summary

Wellstar Health System at Columbia County Medical Center in Georgia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the patient care team on the day shift. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining a compassionate, patient- and family-centered environment.

Responsibilities include delivering care per the plan, documenting changes, and collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or diploma in nursing; RN licensure required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred; BSN encouraged for growth and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing services by working with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care.
• Delivers care according to the care plan and documents patient assessment, changes in condition, and care delivered.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives; maintains professional competence and confidentiality; supports shared governance and falls in line with hospital policies.
• Facilitates patient advocacy and education for patients and families; ensures patient safety and quality outcomes.
