Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide compassionate respiratory care for patients with acute and chronic conditions. You will assess patients, administer respiratory interventions, and manage ventilators to support optimal patient outcomes.

In this role, you will monitor ABGs, collaborate with physicians and nurses to create individualized care plans, and educate patients and families about respiratory care and expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical knowledge of respiratory therapy and ventilator care.
• Ability to monitor, evaluate, and respond to changes in patient status.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine appropriate respiratory interventions.
• Perform respiratory treatments and manage ventilators.
• Monitor and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment expectations.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintain strict patient safety and infection-control standards.
