Prestige Healthcare Management in Iowa is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. You will deliver therapies, monitor status, and coordinate with nurses and physicians to optimize resident well-being.

The role requires CRT or RRT license, BLS, and a commitment to compassionate patient care. ACLS is preferred; prior experience in long-term care is valued. This is a full-time, on-site position in Fairfield.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by the physician.
• Assess and monitor resident respiratory status during routine treatments and rounds.
• Identify changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to nursing and providers.
• Assist with management of oxygen therapy and oxygen equipment.
• Monitor residents utilizing respiratory devices and therapies.
• Perform routing respiratory assessment including breath sounds, respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, and treatment effectiveness.
• Recognize early sign of respiratory decline and initiate appropriate communication and intervention.
