Job summary

You will select and assemble equipment, monitor treatments, teach device use, draw blood and analyze oxygen, carbon dioxide and pH levels, and complete forms per policy and regulations.

Qualifications

• Meets current State licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs the tests that aid in the diagnosis and evaluation of respiratory problems using special apparatus and administering therapies.
• Selects, assembles and checks equipment used in the respiratory treatment.
• Gives temporary relief to patients with conditions ranging from chronic asthma to heart failure, stroke, etc.
• Performs diagnostic tests and monitors patient’s treatment.
• Teaches patients and their families to use equipment.
• Draws blood and analyzes the oxygen, carbon dioxide and pH levels.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
