Job summary

Gateway BHS seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with daily living activities in a 24/7 residential setting in Hinesville, GA. You will provide direct care, supervision, and training to promote independence and community integration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience providing social, direct care, or support services to individuals with special needs in a human services setting; or CNA certification; or an Associate degree; or two years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care and support in a residential setting.
• Assists with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Implements Individual Service Plans and treatment objectives.
• Promotes community participation and social engagement.
• Maintains accurate documentation and progress records.
