Job summary

The Vered in Los Angeles, CA seeks a dedicated Caregiver/Medication Technician to provide medication assistance and daily living support to residents. You will document administration, maintain the medication cart, and report changes to nursing staff while upholding Residents’ Rights.

This role requires at least 1 year of elder care experience, English proficiency, and completion of in-house Medication Technician training.

Qualifications

• 1 year of elder care experience preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Completion of in-house Medication Technician training.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication assistance and documentation per MARs and policies.
• Maintain medication cart and storage room in order.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Uphold Residents’ Rights and care philosophy.
• Observe changes in condition and report to licensed nurse.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Assist in dining room during mealtimes as needed.
• Participate in housekeeping and laundry tasks as required.
• Answer phones and promote courteous customer service.
