Job summary

The Shores at Clear Lake is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Assistant to provide physical and psychosocial support to residents in a warm, family-like environment. We offer both full-time and part-time schedules across all shifts in Houston, with emphasis on dignity, choice, and individualized care.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining professionalism, and reporting concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene, mobility).
• Maintain professional demeanor with residents and families.
• Report abuse or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Document services provided on company forms.
• Operate basic medical equipment and communication devices.
• Escort residents and coordinate internal transportation.
• Participate in team meetings and mandatory in-services.
