Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist with daily tasks, mobility, and adherence to individualized care plans, while documenting care provided and maintaining residents' dignity and quality of life.

You will work with empathy in a team environment, demonstrate core values, and collaborate with the Resident Care Director to ensure safety and well-being. Weekend availability is often required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate disposition and a desire to serve residents.
• Ability to fulfill physical and emotional care needs.
• Direct-Care certification or willingness to obtain, CPR/First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Upholds resident confidentiality and safety policies.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, to ensure resident care.
• Proficient with basic office equipment and record-keeping.

Responsabilités

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate with care teams.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Perform routine care rounds per individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport using body mechanics.
• Maintain skin integrity and prevent pressure injuries through care activities.
• Document daily care activities per policy and regulatory standards.
• Report issues promptly to the supervising team.
• Respond courteously to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff.
• Familiarize with residents' care plans and support accordingly.
• Contribute to care planning with observations of residents’ needs.
