Job summary

Viva Senior Living in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Associate (RCA) to join our assisted living community. You will provide care and support to residents to ensure comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medication reminders, monitoring health, maintaining a safe environment, and engaging residents in social activities while adhering to facility policies and shift rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to resident needs.
• Must be able to work every other weekend as part of the rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide medication reminders and support as directed
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
