Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate to provide essential daily care and support for residents in an on-site senior living environment. The role involves assisting with ADLs, monitoring health-related activities, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication among residents, families, and staff.

The position requires CNA certification (or completion of CHHA/home maker programs) and a high school education.

Qualifications

• Must have current CNA certification or completed CHHA/home maker training program
• In Rhode Island, all Resident Care Associates must be a CNA
• High School education preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing supervision of residents’ health related activities; seeking medical attention when needed
• Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility/transfers, dining)
• Documents accurate records and reports changes in condition
• Maintains cleanliness and proper sanitary procedures in dining and life enrichment areas
• Communicates with residents, families and staff; reports incidents and status
• Responds to emergencies and mentors new Resident Care Associates
