Job summary

Opal Senior Living is seeking a Resident Associate to provide direct support to residents with daily living needs, while promoting dignity, safety, and quality of life on a day-to-day basis.

You will assist with activities of daily living, support meal service and hydration, observe changes in residents, and report them appropriately. Previous caregiving experience is preferred, and a commitment to confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in assisted living, caregiving, or senior services preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and team members.
• Commitment to resident safety, respect, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide respectful, service-focused support that encourages independence whenever possible.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or cognitive condition.
• Support meal service, hydration, and engagement in daily routines.
• Follow proper infection control, safety, and documentation standards.
