Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is hiring for a Resident Care Aide role in Washington state. The candidate will provide resident services including personal care, housekeeping, laundry, meals, and social activities, under the supervision of the Health Services Director.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, and maintaining a safe, home-like environment, along with reporting changes to supervisors and adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Clear English speaking and writing ability; communicate effectively.
• 18–24 months experience in a similar position; CPR/First Aid certified preferred.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification and complete required in-service training hours.
• Organizes and utilizes time with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; 35 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to philosophy of dignity, privacy, independence, and home-like environment.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Assists with ADLs, mobility, bathing, toileting, transfers.
• Provides meal service and cleans up afterwards.
• Maintains infection control procedures and safe environment.
• Records resident information and communicates changes.
• Notifies nurse of status or changes as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
