Job summary

The Ranch Estates of Tucson is seeking Resident Care Assistants (RCA) to provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in a welcoming, family-like community. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting services, and coordinating with the wellness team to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualified candidates are English-proficient, able to lift 40 pounds, and hold state CNA certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• State-approved CNA certification or equivalent.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and perform activities of daily living.
• Background check and drug screening completed on hire.
• Experience in assisted living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services to residents and assist wellness staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Maintain professional demeanor with residents and families.
• Report abuse to licensed staff immediately.
• Use safe transfer techniques for mobility.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report to supervisor or Wellness Director.
• Conduct room checks and resident rounds.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and calmly.
• Document services on company forms.
• Coordinate internal transportation and assist with calls and errands.
