Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification in good standing with the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under a licensed nurse.
• Follow safety, privacy and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents and families.
• Perform routine nursing assistant duties including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with admission, discharge and transportation to activities or appointments.
• document care and report changes to the Charge Nurse per policy.
• Ensure accurate reporting of vitals and care given; respond to call lights promptly.
• Organize and straighten resident rooms daily, manage linen and supplies.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning and moving residents as needed.
• Comply with dress code, attendance, and state CNA requirements.
