Navion Senior Solutions in New Bern, NC is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Aide for our 2nd shift Part-Time role. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, help with meals, and support mobility in a home-like setting.

You will join a team that values patient, respectful care, clear communications with residents and families, and strict adherence to state care standards. Prior experience with seniors is preferred, and a positive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Dedication to serving seniors with good customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Follow state regulations and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and incontinence care.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks and activities.
• Assist in dining room: serving meals and clearing tables.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Document and report changes in residents' condition to the RN or coordinator.
• Communicate politely with residents and families.
• Maintain resident care documentation per policy.
• Transport residents when required.
