Job summary

Cherry Blossom Senior Living is seeking a full-time Resident Assistant for 1st & 3rd shifts in Columbus, OH. Salary range is $18.90 to $19.65 hourly. Must have every other weekend availability and a heart for caring for residents in a welcoming community.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, responding to emergencies overnight, monitoring well-being, and keeping rooms clean and safe. Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle overnight responsibilities.
• Must be able to lift, bend, and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies during the night.
• Monitor residents’ well-being and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in resident rooms and common areas.
• Provide reassurance and support to residents, promoting a calm and comfortable atmosphere.
