Job summary

HoustonTransitionalCare seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with care plans. You will identify residents, follow procedures, and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor.

Responsibilities include recording notes, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents in a facility setting. CPR is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts in a clear, descriptive manner.
• Assist residents with daily functions and daily living activities.
