Job summary

The Bristal at Armonk is seeking a Resident Services Aide (HHA, CNA, PCA) for a full-time Sunday-Wednesday shift, 7am-3pm, on-site in Armonk, NY. The role centers on compassionate care, assisting residents with ADLs and IADLs to promote well-being and dignity.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA/HHA/PCA credential, are fluent in English, and have experience with geriatrics and Alzheimer’s/dementia care. A high school diploma is required, with a supportive, team-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide.
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read in English.
• Geriatric population experience preferred, providing assistance with ADLs.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
• Maintain an abiding respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Assist in the Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort of residents.
• Follow all policies and procedures and heed the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
