Job summary

Markesan Resident Homes in Markesan, WI is seeking an Entry level Resident Associate Assistant. You will provide care and assistance to residents as directed by the Housing Manager, performing duties that support the Residents Plan of Care.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, safety reporting, medication distribution, documentation, and coordination with the care team. Must be able to read/write English and lift/move equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English; can communicate at a 10th grade level.
• Must demonstrate good physical and mental health.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned, completing tasks accurately and timely.
• Identify safety hazards and report them to the Housing Manager.
• Document incidents and/or unusual problems per procedure.
• Greets residents by name and communicates kindly with residents and families.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks and linens as needed.
• Distribute medications timely and accurately; report errors immediately.
