Vivie in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant to provide hands-on support to residents, assisting with daily activities and promoting dignity and companionship. The role includes meal support, mobility assistance, and contributing to a safe living environment.

You will work with nursing staff to monitor health and wellbeing, participate in social and wellness activities, and help residents transition smoothly into their new home.

Formación

• Ability to pass a state background check.
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care and life skills while respecting preferences.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational and wellness activities to improve quality of life.
• Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry and organizing spaces.
• Prepare, store and serve meals, beverages and snacks, promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
