Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Resident Assistant in Assisted Living. This hourly role includes 3-11pm or 11pm-7am shifts and some weekend work, with benefits eligibility for part-time staff.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, transport within the community, respond to emergencies, and help review care plans while monitoring vital signs. A High School diploma is required; CPR is preferred; experience with the elderly is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans, as well as obtaining vital signs
