Job summary

Bridgeway Park Lansing Senior Living Facility is seeking a Resident Aide to provide compassionate care to our residents. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and support the care team in a welcoming environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience working with the elderly is preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid Driver’s license or ID.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Maintain a clean environment; perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Follow safety, infection control, and health procedures.
• Monitor residents for changes and report to supervisor.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Document medications accurately and promptly.
