Job summary

Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital - Germantown, part of LifePoint Health, is seeking a Nurse Technician to join our full-time day shift. You will support nursing staff by assisting with basic patient care and maintaining a safe, clean environment on a busy rehabilitation unit.

Role requires compassion, attention to detail, and CPR/BCLS certification. Minimum six months in acute or long-term care preferred; benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition assistance, and retirement

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferred.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
