Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital - Germantown is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts to deliver high-quality rehab care. You will assess patients, implement nursing interventions, educate families, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team in a 64-bed inpatient rehab unit.

Requires nursing degree (BSN/ADN or Diploma), active RN license, CPR/BCLS; ACLS and CRRN preferred. Six months of medical/surgical acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred. CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team
