Job summary

Hospitals of Providence Rehabilitation Hospital East in El Paso, TX is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a full-time rehab position. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, administer meds, assist in assessments, and support interdisciplinary care planning.

Requires graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program, CPR/BLS, and a minimum of six months rehab experience. IV certification preferred or obtainable within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
• Minimum six months of rehab experience; acute care setting preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required; IV Certification highly preferred or must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per patient needs.
• Support RN with assessments and care planning.
• Identify and implement rehabilitation nursing interventions.
• Perform quality improvement assessments under RN supervision.
• Deliver care that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.
• Develop and implement individualized teaching plans for patients and families.
