Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in New Jersey. You will deliver nursing care in accordance with evidence-based practices, communicate with the care team, and strive for excellent patient experiences while adhering to policies and safety standards.

You must hold a New Jersey RN license, have AHA BLS/CPR certification, and BSN is preferred or obtainable within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six or more months of nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong teamwork, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team about status and plans.
• Responsible for optimal patient and guest satisfaction and care experience.
• Medication administration using current clinical documentation technology.
• Patient and family centered care to optimize health and disease management.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions.
