Job summary

The role requires an associate degree, a nursing license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; 0–1 years experience preferred. Compensation is hourly and commensurate with experience, within a wide pay range.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• License required: Nursing License.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
• BLS-AHA required for all RNS in Direct Patient Care Areas; ACLS-AHA in critical care areas; PALS-AHA in ED/PACU.

Responsibilities

• Mutually formulates outcome with the patient, significant others and health care team when appropriate.
• Effectively delegates patient care activities to co-workers with appropriate knowledge and skill level.
• Demonstrates knowledge to provide care appropriate to patient populations served.
• As required, performs patient teaching and provides care according to plan of care and standards.
• Provides care respecting patient rights, autonomy, dignity and confidentiality.
