Job summary

Pediatrics Plus is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Russellville to support children with special needs through behavior analytic services under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement treatment plans, collect data, and help maintain a safe learning environment.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, complete required annual BACB competencies, and contribute to ongoing staff training.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Must be able to work with children birth to age 21 and families at risk.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, policies, and other company documents.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Responsibilities

• Work directly under the supervision of the BCBA.
• Participate in implementing the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) for optimal outcomes.
• Participate in daily data collection and reporting to supervising BCBA.
• Assist in observational assessments with the BCBA, such as ABC data collection.
• Prepare and implement materials for sessions as directed by the skill acquisition program.
• Implement teaching procedures based on behavior modification.
• Maintain notes, data, graphs, and documentation in HIPAA-compliant software.
• Maintain supervision of the child and ensure safety at all times.
• Communicate with parents, visitors and staff in a professional manner.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary learning environments.
• Ensure confidentiality and respond to information requests per policy.
