Mercy Health’s Willard Hospital seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under approved supervision. You will apply ionizing radiation safely and accurately across radiographic procedures, while documenting histories and collaborating with the care team.

The role requires ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification, state licensure where required, and BLS at hire for certain locations. On-site duties support compassionate patient care and safety.

Qualifikationen

• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
• State licensure preferred where required by state.
• BLS certification required at hire for some Mercy Health locations; essential before independent patient care.

Aufgaben

• Obtains patient's clinical history and relevant labs; documents for licensed practitioner.
• Positions and immobilizes patient to image the anatomical area of interest with comfort.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verifies informed consent and completes pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography; maintains aseptic technique.
• Executes timeout per policy and ensures patient safety.
• Identifies, prepares and/or administers medications/contrast as prescribed.
