Job summary

The Life Care Centers of America in Elizabethton, TN is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).
• Current state license in good standing; active throughout employment.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification prior to or during orientation; must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow/implement treatment plans under the supervising PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely; document progress.
• Maintain therapy software accurately and use it as directed.
• Provide excellent patient service and teamwork.
• Demonstrate proper body mechanics and safety.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.
