Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare in Texas is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will work under a Physical Therapist to deliver targeted treatments that improve mobility, strength and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of PT treatment practices and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function under PT supervision.
• Provide skilled PT services and interventions per physician orders.
• Relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist as needed.
• Implement and modify patients' plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor responses to treatment and adjust approaches with the team.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure timely documentation in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.
