Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting and a Michigan PTA license, with a strong desire to learn and grow within a collaborative, patient-centered program.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting.
• 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Michigan.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care services, including exercising, stretching, and strengthening exercises, and assist with transfers and ambulation.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist according to the treatment plan.
• Monitor and record patient progress, reporting changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning as necessary.
• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a positive, collaborative work environment.
