Job summary

The Orchards at Three Rivers is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Three Rivers, Michigan. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality PT services to residents, focusing on recovery and functional improvement.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, conducting patient assessments, educating families, and maintaining accurate records in our EMR system.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in PTA required.
• Current PTA certification and Michigan licensure.
• Minimum years of experience in physical therapy, preferably long-term care/rehab.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists with treatment plans and exercises.
• Assess patient function (ROM, strength, flexibility) to guide plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment progress and goals; ensure clear communication.
• Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in EMR.
