Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Completion of a Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by CAPTE.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and exercises.
• Develop and implement treatment plans under the guidance of physical therapists.
• Provide patient education and training to promote independence and safe discharge.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist with patient therapy sessions, including exercises and stretches.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
• Assist with patient transfers, lifts, and moves as needed.
