Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Augusta in Salina, KS seeks a compassionate Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) to support rehabilitation under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function in a home health setting.

We value patient-focused, team-oriented care with strong communication and accurate documentation. Full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities available with continuing education and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas CPTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments as directed.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and progress.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
