Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Behavioral Health Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in home settings and other approved environments. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans with physicians, and supervise licensed staff as needed.

The role requires an RN with a psychiatric/mental health focus, current state licensure, and experience in psychiatric/home health settings.

Qualifications

• RN with a master's in psychiatric/mental health nursing and licensed.
• RN with a bachelor's in nursing and licensed; 1 year of recent psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• RN with a diploma or ADN and licensed; 2 years of recent psychiatric/home health experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of home health experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Makes initial assessment visit and develops the patient's plan of care with the physician/Clinical Manager.
• Manages medical illness per the plan of care; performs psycho-biological interventions.
• Performs medication reviews and ensures patient/caregiver understanding of regimen.
• Educates patient and family on medication administration and safety.
• Provides written materials and counseling on medications and treatment.
• Provides nursing interventions including phlebotomy, wound care, infusion, ostomy, catheter care as ordered.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes to the Clinical Manager and physician.
• Ensures documentation meets regulatory and payer standards; participates in after-hours coverage when needed.
