Job summary

Adoration Health seeks a Behavioral Health Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in the home or alternative settings in Alabama. The role involves assessment, care planning with physicians, and delivering skilled nursing interventions including psychopharmacology, education, and family training.

Responsibilities include medication reviews, crisis management, patient teaching, and coordination with Clinical Manager and physicians to ensure high-quality, compliant care.

Qualifications

• RN with a master’s in psychiatric or mental health nursing and licensed in the practicing state.
• RN with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and licensed in the practicing state.
• RN with a diploma or associate degree in nursing and licensed in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessment and develop a plan of care with the physician.
• Provide psycho-therapeutic interventions and patient education.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Coordinate with nurses and home health aides to execute the care plan.
• Discuss medication management with patients and families.
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory and payer requirements.
• Support after-hours coverage as needed.
• Promote safe, therapeutic home environments.
