Job summary

MDH Network in Whittier, AK is seeking compassionate caregivers to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community settings.

You will assist with daily living activities, participate in training, document progress, and collaborate with families and professionals. A high school diploma, 1 year relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• One year of relevant experience with individuals with disabilities or in care roles.
• Current driver’s license and California automobile insurance (or state-equivalent).
• Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants in daily routines and community activities.
• Perform basic medical treatment as prescribed and provide first aid when needed.
• Document reporting accurately and timely; communicate with stakeholders.
• Participate in required training, team and company meetings; promote CARE values.
