Job summary

Methodist Hospital Westover Hills is seeking a Radiology Tech PRN to support diagnostic imaging services in San Antonio. You will perform general radiography, ensure patient comfort, and assist radiologists while using PACS, RIS and Meditech for scheduling and documentation.

The role requires certification in Radiologic Technology, familiarity with digital radiology, and adherence to infection control practices. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling to support a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• Education and certification in Radiologic Technology as required by Texas Medical Board.
• ARRT certification within 6 months of hire is preferred.
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS and digital radiography.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patients.
• Demonstrate competency in general diagnostic radiography and positioning.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and manage patient history.
• Maintain infection control and universal precautions.
