Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers (STRIC) is seeking a Radiology Technologist – PRN to perform radiography procedures and support radiologists with patient care across our multiple San Antonio region locations.

Candidates must graduate from an AMA approved radiologic technology program, be ARRT (R) eligible or registered, and hold the Texas MRT certification with current BLS. Join a team with a long-standing local reputation and comprehensive benefits through HCA’s family of services.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate (or GED) required.
• Graduate from an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT (R) or registry eligible; Texas Department of State Health Services MRT certification; current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiography procedures with high film quality.
• Observes for artifacts and cleans cassettes as needed.
• Documents procedures and stat reads per policy.
• Obtains patient history and assists radiologist to comfort patient.
• Notifies supervisor of storeroom or vendor needs.
• Shuts down radiologic equipment and reboots computers when required.
