Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, support other imaging staff, and help manage patient flow. Responsibilities include adhering to imaging competencies, maintaining patient confidentiality, and supporting ongoing QA and safety initiatives.

The role requires ARRT (R) certification and state licensure (Texas MRT) with BLS. Flexibility for shifts and campus coverage is expected, including PRN or per diem assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred and basic computer skills required.
• BLS certification may be required as part of the credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS Health competencies and policies.
• Promotes physician satisfaction by providing assistance to radiologists and referring physicians.
• Ensures confidentiality and safe handling of patient information.
• Assists in patient throughput and imaging procedures within scope of licensure and competencies.
• Adheres to CACPS downtime procedures and reports equipment issues as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
