Memorial Physician Practices in Mayfield, Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN role. You will perform plan‑of‑care interventions, document care, monitor patient conditions, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with the care team to coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals. Qualifications

• LPN license required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required or within 1 week of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs).
• Assesses learning needs and delivers age‑/culture‑appropriate patient and family education.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
• Participates in unit and organizational performance improvement and required continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on‑call.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
