Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY seeks a PRN LPN to provide nursing care under RN supervision. You will perform care interventions, document promptly, monitor patient conditions, and support multidisciplinary teams to coordinate transfers and discharge planning.

Requirements include an active LPN license and BLS certification with ACLS/PALS within six months. Prior experience is preferred; on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• LPN license required.
• BLS certification required or within 1 week of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan-of-care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to team, physicians, patients and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care and transfers.
• Assesses learning needs and delivers age- and culture-appropriate education.
