Job summary

Griswold Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical elder care in clients' homes across Missouri. The position offers a competitive wage of $17.00-$18.00 per hour and weekly paydays, plus a quick mobile-optimized application process.

As a Caregiver, you will assist with transfers and positioning, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship, all while prioritizing dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of related caregiving experience.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transferring and positioning of the client
• Observing and reporting changes in physical and mental conditions
• Skin care - assist in applying over the counter lotions to prevent dry skin
• Clean and maintain medical equipment - power wheelchair, hospital bed, shower chair, and Hoyer lift
• Accompaniment of client when out of home to grocery, doctors appointment, or pharmacy errands.
• Prep/cleanafter a meal
• Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry)
• Personal care assistance (toileting - incontinence)
• Bathing - perform a skilled transfer into shower using transfers
• Dressings
• Companionship and conversation
